Olympic Power and Fitness weightlifting club is located in south Edmonton at Evolve Strength at 4825-89 St. The club is fully equipped with 15 lifting platforms with squat racks jerk stands and various other pieces of equipment for assistance exercises.

This club has many athletes ranging from novice to the elite level. Present and former club members hold numerous Alberta provincial records from at the junior, senior and masters’ levels. Athletes at the club have competed at competitions at the local level and have progressed up to Provincial, Western and Canadian championships as well as international meets.

This club was founded by Ed Fergusson who has been one of the founding members of the association and a driving force behind development of the sport in Alberta. Kevin Zimmerman (BPE) is the head coach at the club. He is an NCCP level 2 weightlifting coach and level 3 weightlifting official. He has coached athletes at Provincial, Western and National championships.

 The club is a very positive training atmosphere where all athletes are encouraged to come out and train at their own level from novice to elite.
